My name is David John Arnold; it'll remain David John Arnold until I change it to Sherlock Henry Alexander Grady (Or Shag for short) once I finish up this academic year, as trying to get people to call me something else this late into term will be too much of a pain. I live in a small market town called Aylesbury, a short distance away from London, that has turned into a commuter's hub in recent years and is now something of a ghost town. I'm an out homosexual man and currently I'm attendng the Grange School to study Biology and Psychology at A2 Level and English Literature at AS Level.

If you asked me to classify myself by a defined school social group I would have to choose Goth; though I don't fit the stereotypical pale and sickly image one would bring to mind. I'm blonde, blue-eyed and of only slightly below average weight. Many would view my friends and I as cast-outs from society, though we all strongly feel we segregated ourselves regardless of their feelings toward us.

I'm something of a writer and toy with both original fiction and fanfiction in my spare time; primarilly of the slash variety. The fandoms I engage in regularly are: Big Wolf on Campus and Brokeback Mountain. Though I also indulge in: Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who/Torchwood, House MD, Cursed, Hancock, Final Fantasy, Good Omens, Heroes and National Treasure.

My journal is used mainly as a place to vent on the frustrations of my life, or to share humourous or random events that occur in the hopes of making some of you laugh. I tend to fill in most memes I come across so you might find my journal bogged down with them along with the slash and life ranting.

That's really everything there is to know about me. I'm friendly enough so add me if you want and I'll likely share a conversation with you and offer advice or a joke when you post in your own journal. My interest list shows most of the things I like and I'll gladly commune on any of them.
